I’m torn…..do I personally disapprove strongly? Yes….but I also think we are at a point this is not going to be resolved easily….so Americans need to feel the pain from Trump and company to realize the error of our ways….so I’m passively cheering him on as he takes us all over the edge.
Why? You have 3 negative options and 2 positive. An equal number of responses on either end gives you the most accurate poll. Pretty basic stuff if you understand market research and polling.

Definitely approve, but really we need results. I've long said I don't judge a president until after 4 years, and we'll stick to that.

According to reports Russia actually did this in Ukraine almost immediately after the conference ended.
It was an embarrassing display by the Trump admin. That said, Europe has been trying to convince Trump to change his tune. This gives no doubt which side he’s on so the conference in France this weekend needs to have them come up with a plan and fast. They need to move on without the US on this. Then, they can get the rebuild contracts and minerals.

One unintended consequence of Trump's unreliable, unhinged and ridiculous foreign relations is that it could finally be the catalyst to get the EU to get its shit together and get serious about its own defense. One thing where Trump has the "stopped clock" analogy going for him is that Europe HAS for too long taken the U.S. dominance of NATO for granted. Between the 3 of them, the UK, France and Germany are more than rich and powerful enough to thwart Russian aggression. Particularly now that the Russian military has proved itself to be a shell of what was once believed and not even able to subdue a militarily weak, relatively poor country like Ukraine, it is time for the EU to tell Trump to eat a bag of dicks and that they will take care of the trash on their doorstep by themselves.
