Trump will single handedly torpedo the R chances for the Presidency in 2024. Scorched earth....

D's just need to sit back and watch. Wait till he gets the nomination to really go after him...let him eviscerate the R field....majority won't even run against him.
Same strategy as 2016. And same strategy as now. Try to get the most extreme rs running while ripping the reasonable ones. Jerks.

I believe this is what will happen if dipshit does actually run again. Gonna make the MAGAt's heads explode here in Florida if Desantis fights back. This could be some great entertainment. Gonna go stock up on the popcorn now.
Florida might surprise...they're on board with Ron and want Orange Man to move on....that's not the case for the rest of the MAGA universe though.

Desantis does not have great charisma on stage. Better than this old version of Biden, and fewer inexplicable lies about his personal history. But worse than Obama, George W, Clinton, Reagan (best, imo), and George HW. Slower than cruz on his feet (which cruz is pretty quick, so it’s not a rip). Maybe about as charismatic.

I don’t like watching trump talk. He’s got a very punchable disposition. But, he’s obviously got charisma of some sort to some people.

In my opinion there are just too many goofballs who can’t quit Trump. He’s their god, and his Two Minutes Hate rallies are addictive.

The smart political play for DeSantis is waiting until 2028.

Surprised Trump hasn't gone with "Groomer Ron" after DeSantis's time as a high school teacher that he conveniently leaves out of his bio. I guess getting fired after his first year for drinking and "partying" with underage students on the weekends isn't a selling point?

Gaetz, DeSantis, what is it with Florida Republicans and underage girls, anyway?

Child predators Trump and Epstein too

But it will still be too close imo. And who knows, based on the numerous sabotage attempts in 2020, will they work in 2024? Will fewer ethical people be in place to make those happen? And who would want to relive that misery, having Trump personally name you as a said official? He cannot die soon enough.

The never Trump dynamic is locked in with Independents...the folks you need to win a national election.

I know it is with me...I'll never vote for him. I'd vote for Kamala Harris over him and I'd vote for a Tomato can over her.

I wouldn’t vote for Kamala over trump. I would vote for a tomato can over her, though. Trump is a terrible politician. I’m typically a platform over candidate guy. And, I see the Dems as the worse platform. But trump is the exception for me. I still won’t pull the blue lever.

Extremely weak....but there's Trump....and everyone else. He's his own category.
Not to me. I see the Dems reaction to trump as arguably worse than trump. Biden is an awful president and was an awful candidate. I still find it hard to believe a candidate that had to drop out from a presidential election campaign primary in the 80s for multiple instances of lying about his background and accomplishments and for autobiographical plagiarism was the best Dems could put up. Amazingly terrible. That said, Kamala is even worse than Biden. She can’t communicate consistently. And, she is very far left.

i find it terribly insulting to the American collective intelligence that reality show host, trump university, trump steaks, casino, beauty pageant, biff tanner Donald fing trump was president and still a sig political force. We have a lot of stupid citizens.

ultimately if trump wins again, which I doubt, it will be the Dems reaction that rips things apart.

Assuming he's not arrested first, I honestly think Trump will win in 2024. His followers are loyal like rabid college football fans. Convincing them that Trump has ever done anything wrong or that the election wasn't stolen is like trying to convince Bama fans that the refs aren't out to get them. If he's re-elected, he will also make his legal troubles go away.

People will use the logic of "any bad things happening now weren't happening when Trump was in office" and he will play that up big time. I think he will destroy the republican opposition.

Are three syllable too many? Ungrateful Ron, Disloyal Ron?

I think his last name almost demands that you make a play based off of that.

Ron Desanctimonious was a start. I think it's a bit long winded so Trump will probably try for something shorter but I think it's gonna be some sort of play off his last name.

Like @wausauhawk said. Trump is still in the workshopping phase, but he'll find something that sticks.

Trump to make his "big" announcement next Tuesday. What a joke this guy is. No doubt the first candidate from a major political party running for president who is under indictment!

Worked well in 2016, what could go wrong for the Dems?

In other words you can’t. Cause you got nothing.
**shocker**
You voted for Trump once. I almost get that. Some people are so brand loyal they will overlook what we knew about the man. A lot of people lied to themselves and said he'd grow into the job. How we know you are delusional is that after 4 years of the most dysfunctional presidency ever you convinced yourself that Trump deserved 4 more years.
That is being delusional.

Yes, you are delusional if you think Biden is suffering from dementia.
Did Hillary have dementia, too? You are so blindly brand loyal it's laughable.

Ughhh... Biden may very well have early stage dementia. Still no problem voting for him over what was offered up as competition. But he looks to have real cogitative decline.
