Trump has some thoughts on Ukraine

Zelensky, the CIA, Biden and Harris turned down a reasonable settlement and intentionally provoked Russia, by pushing for Ukraine’s eminent acceptance into NATO. Ukraine is Russia’s redline just as Cuba was our redline under President Kennedy. We poured gas on a fire.
What would you consider a reasonable settlement would be for a full scale military invasion of your country?

It’s better in the original Russian.

This is a very lame way of looking at things. First the Monroe Doctrine goes back way before the Kennedy Cuba thing.

And your geographic logic is super flawed. Kennedy and America for 140 years prior to that said NO european or asian aggressors putting weapons or taking over Western Hemisphere countries.

Ukraine is a sovereign nation right next to Russia, not only are they both in Eurasia but they share a border they are that close.

So your argument is totally flawed, terrible logic. Think about and get back to us with something better

Biden had Russia's economy on the verge of collapse, just like Reagan in the 80s. Interest rates north of 21 percent. Double digit inflation. Lack of workers due to losing hundreds of thousands in the war. Imposed sanctions.

And tiny is ready to give it alllllll back to his boss.

Please read my reply to the same poster you replied to. There is no real reasonable settlement when you give everything to the aggressor. So far today everyone that promotes freedom and democracy are shouting down the Dumpster, Rubio, etc. Papers etc are saying giving putin everything will make the US look very weak. And it will

Balderdash.

Garbage. Utter garbage.

I talk alot about how the Democrats have convinced themselves, probably thanks to online echo chambers, to the wrong side of too many 80/20 issues, like lax border enforcement and trans in sports.

Well this is one that Trump is way on the wrong side of the public on. The support of the public for Ukraine and against Russia is very lopsided. It may not matter for Trump obviously in his last term, but Republicans lining up against Ukraine do so as severe political risk.

Russia has succesfully conquered the USA without firing a shot. I really hope EU goes ball to the wall and launches an assault on Russia with Ukraine. Watch the politicians squirm trying to figure out how to respond with the KGB inside the white house.

Who would ever have thought that all Russia needed to do to win the cold war was make some Facebook purchases and spend a few million on Fox News personalities.

Bonespurs genuflecting to a Russian dictator. Throwing our friends out like garbage. No wonder Russia works so hard to get him elected. So sad for the US that our president takes a subservant position to a Russian dictator. So obvious he's Putin's lap dog. Where is the outrage amongst our Russia hating republicans?

It's almost like the Republicans don't fear much backlash down the road. Perhaps they don't see much political risk involved at all.

We will have to wait and see. This is one of few topics that Republicans have not been quick to fold on, and haven't hesitated to differ from Trump publicly.

My gut feeling is that they will fall in line like they usually do given his general momentum and relatively high approval numbers, but we'll see.

Some of it will depend on the terms of the deal of course.

Harris should have made Ukraine one of her primary platforms. That this would happen. It seems like a topic that most Americans agree on.

Some of it will depend on the terms of the deal? The terms of the deal are only as good as the word of Putin and trump. In other words, totally worthless. They’re both lying assholes.

WASHINGTON — Vice President JD Vance scolded Volodymyr Zelensky to stop “badmouthing” President Trump on Wednesday after the Ukrainian leader accused his US counterpart of spreading disinformation — heightening an escalating spat following initial peace talks to end the three-year-old Russian invasion.

“The idea that Zelensky is going to change the president’s mind by badmouthing him in public media, everyone who knows the president will tell you that is an atrocious way to deal with this administration,” Vance told the Daily Mail in an interview.

Trump tore into Zelensky earlier Wednesday as a “Dictator without Elections” — after the Ukrainian president said Trump was “living in a disinformation space.”
