He is the same guy now as he was then. Even though you don't like him, he has been consistent in his views.

He is running for president because he thinks he does a better job than the current democrats.

He doesn't think we should tax Americans and give that money to countries overseas. The usa is 34 trillion in debt, these aren't crazy ideas.

This is one of my top issues. Please post evidence the republicans have cut the deficit anytime in the last 30+ years. They talk a good game, but when they control the oval it is spend, spend, spend. Trump did the same thing.

We need a Republican Party that focuses on that issue, not the MAGA culture war bullsh*t. They cannot effectively govern until MAGA is eradicated. That’s why I will vote for Dems until they come to their collective senses. Only then will we have a chance to solve the deficit. The sooner this all the happens the better it will be for our children and grandchildren.
