It is interesting how different cultural norms are in this country. My entire life, child to grown-up, you never wore your hat, much less a ball cap inside. My grandmother ( no pic ) would have lost her mind and I or anyone else may have lost some teeth if you disrespected her house in such a way. I assume upbringing in the north was far different.

I don’t know if you watched the televised LA town hall that Trump just led? He schooled & tutored them on how to handle a disaster. He took all questions…it was amazing the buy in he was getting from around the table. Trump’s knowledge of real estate, permitting, etc was impressive. They very much appreciated Trump’s presence there today. It’s the type of meeting that Biden couldn’t handle.

I thought Trump’s common sense responses led to the bulk of the people in that room agreeing with him on how to handle the situation. One very telling story…a local authority conveyed a story of how they successfully stopped a fire outbreak in his district by advance planning…proper forest management and a fire break that they had dug/planned ahead for. Duh - common sense.

For cities to not have water in fire hydrants, or even very low pressure, is malfeasance.
