Israel and Turkish media reports say that President Donald Trump is planning to finally pull American occupying forces out of Syria. The statements began with a report this week by Israel's official public broadcasting Kan. However, the Trump White House itself has yet to confirm this, but is likely in talks with regional states, particularly Turkey and close Washington ally Israel, about such a potential move.

Kan reported Tuesday that "senior White House officials conveyed a message to their Israeli counterparts indicating that President Trump intends to pull thousands of US troops from Syria."

US President-elect Donald Trump wants to pull American troops out of northern Syria instead of leaving them as “cannon fodder” if fighting breaks out between other parties, said his political ally Rober F. Kennedy Jr.

Kennedy, who endorsed the Republican candidate in Tuesday’s presidential election, said that Trump recently expressed concern to him about the US military presence in Syria.

In an interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson, Kennedy discussed the role of US presidents in critical decision-making processes and shared details of a recent conversation he had with Trump.

"When I was with President Trump, we were talking about the Middle East, and he took a piece of paper and drew on it a map of the Middle East with all the nations on it, which most Americans can't do. Then he wrote in each country the troop strength,” he said.

Kennedy described Trump’s particular focus on the border between Syria and Türkiye.

"He said we have 500 men on the border of Syria and Türkiye, and a little encampment that was bombed. He said there's 750,000 troops in Türkiye. There's 250,000 militants in Syria. If they go up against each other, we're in the middle."

According to Kennedy, Trump later asked his generals what would happen if a conflict broke out, to which they reportedly replied, "They're going to be cannon fodder."

Trump’s response was decisive: "Get them out."

You cam cope but the reality is biden pushed back the withdrawal date at an attempted symbolic 9 11 end date. Then he had the military pull out before the civilians and it all went to shit. People falling off airplanes trying to flee the country is the image that captures the true legacy of the Biden administration.

She was an Assad supporter. Assad losing Syria and the Russians losing that base of support was an important strategic development for NATO in that theater.

All wars end up with dead civilians. People here mocked the hundreds of thousands of civilians that died in Yemen after Obama helped Saudi Arabia invade and blockade them, for another regime change effort that never got the approval of the US Congress, never mind any sort of UN approval.
International law doesn't allow for funding and arming jihadists to overthrown foreign governments.
Especially when you factor in the UN findings the jihadists have been using chemical weapons.

If you think you have the case then you build it and get partners and allies publicly a part of the mission, with the populace bought in on the goal. You don't go on the campaign trail lying about having our troops in the middle of civil wars on the other side of the world.

At what point does the self reflection kick in after you tell you boss that we're on AQ's side?

But really, it has be read and understood in the context of the DIA memo outlining how the gulf monarchies would help fund a 'salafist principality' to help overthrow Assad.

That's when you realize this was their effort the whole time to sell another regime change story, and effect it by whatever means (jihadists) they could scrape together:
