Of course he lies about this too. BAU.
He had a press event a week ago where he trotted out names of people he might put on the SCOTUS. It was well known inside the DC beltway apparently the she was going terminal from what is being reported tonight.
You can say he was presidential, but it was typical low class guy from Queens Trump who openly wished for the death of an old woman last week.
Funny how he says he's "actually" sad to hear that. Like he's surprised himself that he is sad.
So the complaint is he knew she died. Nothing wrong with his comment.
He probably knew she wasn't looking good last month when he released that list of potential justices.
I thought this sounded very odd the cuff and heartfelt honestly. He had to know she was failing lately and she would succumb soon but even when that’s true it can still legitimately be a surprise when it actually happens.
No criticism of this at all. Sad that this simple reply was one of the highlights of his interactions with the press all year.
Trump was prepped. He’s happier than a fly on shit about her death. He’s been hoping for it his entire reign.

Her dying soon was not the surprise, but actual occurrence of it was.
only caveat I’ll add is that it was the highlight of his interactions with the press in 4 years, not just 2020 😉

It’s called an observation. Based on countless comments from Trump it is quite easy to conclude that he would never say anything positive about Ginsberg. He is an evil, narcissist.
One would think he might do it to show he’s concerned about the sanctity of the court.
Let’s face it, Trump is evil and vindictive. He’s glad she’s dead.
