In the book, the Prez candidate says all the right/nice things and seems so good but he is outed by the main character as a person wishing to destroy much of the world to get at his perceived enemies and have more power. Trump is so hateful, so narrow minded, and the worst thing he is so kneejerk reactionary. He is a dangerous man by having the nuclear codes and being leader of the US and its military.
Trump reminds me of the bad, slimy Prez candidate in King's book and movie The Dead Zone

This book this year is supposed to be the third in the Holly trilogy. I didn't think I would like them as much as I ended up liking them.
With these waitlists, I will be retired before i enjoy them.

That's what was great. I didn't have to worry about it because there weren't sociopathic lunatics in charge. Now it is a daily concern.
That is certainly a thought that has crossed my mind more in the recent week. Yay future uncertainty.
If it played out like that in real life it wouldn't have hurt his chances of winning.
