I actually saw a comment in this thread claiming Putin tested the waters with Biden then decided to attack Ukraine. There is literally nothing these people won’t lie about or flip their position on.

“Biden was weak so Putin attacked!” “No, Biden and NATO backed Putin in a corner!” “No, Ukraine started the shit! ….”Wait, no, back to Biden is a pussy!”

I remain of the opinion that Putin thought that NATO and the western allies were sufficiently fractured that they wouldn’t be able to muster an organized response to his Ukraine invasion.
