Trump on his 'biggest mistake'

Trump told Rogan the “biggest mistake” of his 2017-21 presidency was “I picked a few people I shouldn’t have picked”.

“Neocons or bad people or disloyal people,” he told Rogan, referring to neoconservatives, policy-makers who champion an interventionist US foreign policy.

“A guy like Kelly, who was a bully but a weak person,” Trump added, mentioning his former White House chief-of-staff John Kelly, who told the New York Times this week that he thought his former boss had “fascist” tendencies.

Trump also described his former US National Security Adviser John Bolton as “an idiot”, but useful at times.
“He was good in a certain way,” said Trump. “He’s a nutjob.

"And every time I had to deal with a country when they saw this whack job standing behind me they said: ‘Oh man, Trump’s going to go to war with us.’ He was with Bush when they went stupidly into the Middle East.”

I hope one of those "loser" officers gets a chance to take trump out behind a building.

In hindsight, running as a Hitler loving felon rapist was probably his biggest mistake. Live and learn.
Unless he wins.

Which outcome would be worse? For him to win and take us wherever he leads, or for him to lose and we have a lot of violence (maybe leading to Civil war and the balkanization of the US)?

It's a tough call. But I have plenty of popcorn (and ammo).

This may have been my favorite part of the article....

So Many Different Papers

Asked for proof to back up his false claims that the 2020 presidential was stolen from him by mass voter fraud, Trump told Rogan:

“We’ll do it another time. I would bring in papers that you would not believe, so many different papers. That election was so crooked, it was the most crooked.”

He won't win. His chances are crumbling.

My head keeps spinning with the predictions. When David Brooks expects Trump to win, I get worried.

I can't shake the concern that if Dems aren't leading by a good margin, they will lose because of R voter suppression and other dirty tricks. A 2% lead doesn't hack it. It needs to be more like a 5-7% lead.

The counter argument is that the pollsters have improved their methods enough so that's accounted for. But I'll believe it when I see it.

In a sane America the Newsom-Whitmer ticket would be heading toward a landslide (because Biden would have stepped aside sooner and we would have had a robust Dem primary season). And even the Harris-Walz ticket should be a lock.

But back to my question: if Trump loses, there's no way he goes peacefully. How bad will it get?

Not tough at all. He loses and bring on the violence and lock them up!

Why can’t some say, "you’ve been saying that for four years. You’re lying. Why do you lie to Americans like that?"

You are looking at the wrong data bud
His returns in rural areas have slowed down appreciably. Next week will tell us a lot more. But unless he can somehow find new voters in these areas, he likely won't be able to keep up with the urban vote still being cast.

His biggest mistake was being born. He should have been aborted.

4 years of preparation and this guy can't provide anything. He can't even produce a cogent argument.

Shouldn't a man running for President be able to present an argument.
