Truth about covid deaths

NYC covid deaths and flu deaths. Somehow when covid kicked up this year, flu deaths dropped dramatically. I cut and pasted the following from this link: "https://nyshc.health.ny.gov/web/nyapd/new-york-state-flu-tracker". Actually just had to type it as I couldn't copy it. It may be the whole state instead of NYC.

So as you can see as I saw elsewhere, the Covid virus is apparently the cure for the flu!!!! Amazing, isn't it.

Those aren't flu deaths. Those are confirmed cases. Derp

Do you think maybe it's reasonable to think people stopped leaving their house and flu cases declined?

Do you think maybe it's reasonable to think people stopped going to the doctor for mild flu cases and instead did video calls with their doctor? "You probably have the flu. No need to get tested. Just call us if you get seriously ill."

....and please explain the unusual dramatic rise in deaths attributed to pneumonia in Florida earlier this year?

According to the CDC:
Florida Covid deaths from January 1, 2020 thru May 27, 2020 thru May 27 = 1762
Florida Pnuemonia deaths from January 1, 2020 thru May 27, 2020 thru May 27:= 5185
Average pneumonia deaths in Florida from 2013-2018 during the same time frame = 918
