Trying to think of a better win in the McCaffrey era considering the circumstances

Playing a good Minn that really needed this win.

Playing in the Barn (I always hate when we play up there).

Best player in the country fouls out & was in foul trouble all game.

A guy that just came off a suspension.

16 injured players out for the year, 7 of them were starters

This might have been Fran McCaffrey’s most impressive win ever. Not his biggest but his most impressive!

Lickliter was still the coach in 2009/10 season. It was 2011, Purdue ranked #6, last regular season game. No Hummel.

Hummel didn't play that year, he tore his ACL before the season. They may have been better though, they had E'Twaun Moore and JaJuan Johnson as seniors.

That's right! 10 years ago was a long time and a lot more fun when I was in my late 20s. Still a crazy fun game!

Hasn't mattered much in conference play so far and the Barn seems like no picnic to play at. Fran IMO has started to evolve as a coach and while it doesn't seem game in and game out he has had more really good coaching performances like yesterday than in past seasons. The whole culture of the program seems different. Let's enjoy the moment and see how much further this group can go.
