Petras said everyone has total faith in IKM. He really didn't want to talk about last week again. Looking ahead to this week. Shared a fun story about having his roommates out to visit his home area and laughed at how Riley Moss was complaining about things being expensive in California.
Talked to Waggoner about the defensive line and their performance on Saturday. He was all about focusing on this week too. Feels like the group is coming along well. Asked him if they take some pride in putting starting QB's out in each game this year and he said they really don't think about those things.
Spoke with Kyler Schott. He said it felt good to be back out there. Likes the rotation so far. Feels like they will ramp him up a bit more this week with even more reps. He is done jumping off hay bales.
Spoke with Jestin Jacobs as well. Said that Colorado State has a good TE Trey McBride. He's probably a fairly high NFL draft pick. Will have to deal with him at linebacker. Said they run a lot of 12 and 13 personnel groups, so I think we could see more Jacobs this week at linebacker.
