Does anyone know of a successful use case for employment of artificial intelligence/machine learning for calling plays in gridiron football? It's had to be tried somewhere right? And if not, what do you anticipate are the primary holdups?
Development of an advanced, comprehensive playcalling robot might be Iowa's ticket to relevancy on Offense! Brian could focus more on play prep and coaching instead of in-game dynamics. And even if its not enough to catapult our Offense to the top 100, its a novelty that would bring attention to the program and not perform any worse than the status quo.
