TV replays of controversial calls.

I was at the game but I need to see TV replays on the two PIs (one call one non call), the NW touchdown to tie it at 24 and the tackle on CJ that looked like a face mask.

For those that saw it on TV, what's the verdict?

The touchdown would have been fine to say "stands as called".
They missed several clear penalties against NU. Including some holds that sprung big plays you don't have listed.

They missed the 1st one. Got the 2nd one correct. The one on Snyder was the correct call "face guarding w/contact".

The one late in the 1st half should of been called. It was face guarding w/contact. They flat out missed it.

I don't know what Iowa did to the officiating gods, but this year they have been absolutely screwed by the refs. Today i counted a lot of errors and they all seemed to hurt Iowa and not NW.

Iowa was on the short end of many calls, a few that I'm shocked were missed, but Iowa should have been able to overcome the calls.

They didn't miss it. They intentionally did not call a penalty to favor NU. Three officials are looking at that spot/players. It was intentionally not called too favor NU.

The refs were responsible for at least a 21 point swing in northwesterns favor. I can't believe anyone could be this incompetent. So hmm there must've been another reason some how I can't get the color green out of my head.

The flags on Iowa were correct. Both non-calls on jNW were incorrect. The timing of all calls/no-calls are what made it an explosive situation. While Jewell's FM was absolutely correct, Jaleel doesn't get the additional flag, and Iowa doesn't get pushed out of FG range if they call the first one against Beathard. So, at minimum, a 4 point swing for jNW. That's what makes it infuriating.

I would absolutely agree - biggest issue was the timing and impact of the calls - has happened that way the last three games.
