finally saw tyler cook play last night in front of about 3,000 people in a jammed small-college stadium. He did not disappoint, although his mid-range jumper was a bit off early and he ended up fouling out w/ about 4 minutes left in the game.

Chaminade scored 9 points in the 1st quarter, and then 70 in the following 3. man, jason tatum has the looks of a one-and-doner...

I am excited about cook. He looks to be a smart, emotional player. They were going against some serious ballers last night...I heard he had a nice dunk in the 3rd quarter, which I missed due to "concession stand" issues;)...

enjoy the read. he is in the last picture.

Pretty active, pretty fast, had him guarding some outside guys at times too. They were playing a very very high quality

Thanks for the info. You've always had a pretty reliable eye; can't wait to see Cook in a Hawk uniform.

Chaminade was playing pretty tight D. Let's just say that tyler is definitely a "presence" in the lane. Looked very angry on a play or two where he didn't get the rebound.

The dude is long and lean, and can run. In 2-3 years, with another 20 lbs, he will be a monster. Good offensive skills and looking to finish around the hoop...

i am not usually easily impressed, but i predict he will have an impact in iowa city. perhaps not marvin mcnutt like impact, but very very solid. also, the dude is used to winning.
