As mentioned yesterday, after seeing A.J. Epenesa on Friday night, went over to see Tyler Cook play on Saturday.
Cook's team won comfortably after a slow start. They had played Friday night and seemed in a bit of a fog as a team in the first quarter, then they picked it up using pressure and had a 2 point lead at the half and then pulled away from a 20 point win. Cook was saddled with foul trouble for parts of the game, including a tech for hanging on the rim after a dunk. Haven't looked up the official stats, but think he had 10 points before fouling out about midway thru the 4th period.
Caught up with him after the game to talk about his senior year, Iowa's season, and how he's reaching out to several recruits to try to get them to come to Iowa.
