O'Toole rolling. Looks like he's added some muscle mass this year.

O’ Toole is definitely on the short list of dudes that I wish were Hawks. Super fun to watch and seems like a great kid
I remember being shocked when he completely dominated Gallagher at WNO in Carver. Did not see that result coming at the time.
Keegan knew, though. After the match, he met up with family/friends in the stands near my seat. Overhead him say, "I told you. Don't know why he(Gallagher) wanted freestyle." At that WNO, higher ranked wrestler chose which style they wrestled.
Been a KOT fan ever since.
I'm assuming Individual is Russia? If so, that was probably the Gold medal match for Brooks. Should have an easier go in the finals.
O'Toole on the flipside has the Russian in the finals. Russian has destroyed everyone to reach the finals. O'Toole though is a beast too.
KOT looks like he has lived in the weight room this summer. Much more physical definition than we have seen on him in the past.
I think he had a poor showing (for him at least) at Fargo losing to Jace Luchau in the semis. I think many figured he was a folkstyle guy so when blew the doors off of Gallagher, it was kind of a surprise. It was at that moment I jumped on the KOT bandwagon. The other surprise in Carver that day IIRC was VV turning Vazquez with ease.

O'Toole a 6-1 winner. Bringing home gold.

You could see that the Russian kid's forte was being able to scramble...he somehow got out of almost some sure O'Toole points when KOT had the leg shelved and ready to score. But KOT is a monster at rolling around and finishing. Fun to watch.
Brooks with a tf to win gold.
His opponent was a stocky brute. Held center very well but didn’t do much else.
Hendrickson leads 6-1 at break. Dealing with some knee pain. Could be a factor in the 2nd.

He's quick on attacks and then extremely patient when he's in on the leg(s).
I think it helps he knows all the "funky" tricks for exposure and methodically gets to the score.
He's been one of my favorite non-Hawks to watch for quite awhile.
I just hope that when it's time for him to pick a college, he chooses Iowa over a place like Mizzou where he will never reach his full potential and probably overall suck.
I think we all need to really appreciate the current era of USA heavyweights. Steveson, Parris, Kerk, Cass, Schultz, and Hendrickson are all age level world champions now

I believe Elam and Davison have both earned age level world medals as well.
Jordan Wood as well won a cadet medal. Crazy depth
USA men already clinched first place in U23 freestyle!
