Not laughing this week in Ames, either. UL-Laf needed OT to beat mighty Georgia State 34-31. The Panthers were playing their first game, but were ready to rumble and led the Rajin' Cajuns 14-7 at the half.

So in other words, all the team(s) that have beaten isu are still unbeaten.

In fairness, Georgia State has a much better football team than ISU.

The Big 12 outside of Okie and maybe Texas is beyond miserable. Look at the losses and then even the wins. Texas Tech beat Houston Baptist by 2? Okie St (who some people picked for the playoff) can barely beat Tulsa? That conference is God awful. Maybe the NFL draft scouts aren’t wrong when the Big 12 competes each year with the AAC (not ACC) with draft picks. That are so sad. Reason why Okie and Texas ain’t leaving.

We might need to give TTU a little slack. ESPN reported last week that 75 players have tested positive for COVID-19 since June and 12 of them missed the game against Houston Baptist. No doubt the other 63 have missed practice and/or workouts.
