Generally if your post title includes the words “must read,” you should include the thing to read. Just a suggestion.
Thanks, I should have renamed the thread. I did not know how to post the information from Matt Benson (@mbenson6) in x.com

The 63-point margin of victory is the largest of the Kirk Ferentz era and tied for the 12th-largest in Iowa history. It is tied for the worst in Illinois history (1906 vs. University of Chicago). The Hawkeyes led 7-0 in the first quarter before erupting for 28 points in the second quarter.Nov 18, 2018

Again, that's a credit to the marvelous defense and special teams that Iowa has rolled out. This is what Iowa fans seemingly fail to recognize when they say the defense has taken a step back this year resulting in fewer wins. It's been so good that it has nowhere else to go. It's still very very good. Iowa lost 2 games because it failed to score 20 or more points and some fans blame the defense. Look at the results of games each week. Games where the opponent is held to 20 or less points result in wins probably 90% of the time and yet Iowa lost 2 of them. Those losses were offensive failures, not defensive.
