Any updates on CJ's status for this game?
Fran almost made it sound like it was already an issue before the game.I would expect that C.J. will be having a MRI sometime today or tomorrow, if it is more then just a sprain or a bruise. Only C.J. and people associated with the team really knows what's going on....if it's a long term problem, I would assume Iowa would put out a news release in a day or two. They won't or can't hide it from the public for too long without some news leaking out.....
Well that sucks. I guess this is a reoccurance of his earlier injury?Fran almost made it sound like it was already an issue before the game.
The announcers did, too. Stating he wasn’t as effective in the first half because of it.Fran almost made it sound like it was already an issue before the game.

He didn't play in a game earlier this season because of a sprained ankle, right?
I'm really not worried about Nebraska. What are they going to do, foul out their whole team trying to stop Garza, or just let him score 2+ points every time down? Nebraska beat Purdue because the boilers are really streaky offensively. If they aren't shooting well, they are in trouble. We don't really have that problem.
What's wrong with that combo? All five are pretty sound defensively.I think everyone of them is capable of providing some scoring. All are pretty good at distributing the ball and finding the open man. It's not like they're gonna be on the floor together for 30 minutes every night. Two or three 3 to 4 minute shifts will help this team a lot especially with such a short bench already.Except when Fran puts Kriener, Evelyn, Connor, Pemsl, and Toussaint on the floor at the same time. Admit it, even you and others cringe and think Fran is wacko when he puts those five in at the same time....I'm sure Fran has plunty of confidence in his players and cares little what we think of his substitution policies but head scratchers they are, and will continue to be....
I just know what to expect with that lineup... I look for more of a "maintain for a few minutes" strategy with a focus on defense. We can run the offense through Kriener and/or have Toussaint drive or Connor can shoot a 3 at the end of the clock...Except when Fran puts Kriener, Evelyn, Connor, Pemsl, and Toussaint on the floor at the same time.
