Not only was the tackling amazingly precise and solid for a first game, it was also fierce and with bad intent.
I think this year’s defense has a little of the old school “bullies of the Big 10” attitude. They don’t play dirty, but they are coming with aggression and intent to inflict (legal) pain. This bodes well.
