This has all the makings of a trap game for the Bucknuts. Illinois is coming off a needed road win at Purdue with the return of their RB Josh Ferguson. The Illini are looking for their sixth win to become bowl eligible. Lunt has 12 TD/4INT ratio and has a good target in Allison. Illini defense isn't too bad either. With all the off field distractions, QB controversy all year long, and only putting up 28 pts. against Minny, and JT Barrett coming off a week suspension, the Illini have a shot. OSU could be looking ahead with matchups with MSU and Michigan on the horizon, the Bucks could be looking past the Illini. If they pull this off, it would muddle up the East division. I don't think the firing Of the AD will have any effect on the football team. Plus Bill Cubit is a good coach too. OSU is going for a NCÁA record 30 straight conference wins and sometimes those are difficult to get. Question is...do we want Illinois to win to improve our SOS, or do we want to meet an undefeated OSU in the B1G championship game?
