US appeals court upholds block on Trump administration deportation of some Venezuelans

A U.S. appeals court on Wednesday upheld a lower court's temporary block on the Trump administration's deportation of some Venezuelan immigrants under a little-used 18th century law.

The decision by the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit marks a defeat for Republican President Donald Trump, who argued U.S. District Judge James Boasberg's two-week ban on deportations under the 1798 Alien Enemies Act encroached on the executive's authority to make national security decisions.

So it's no longer a "lowly" district court ruling. That means the Trump admin will obey it. Right?

I didn't get upset. I'm done excusing their bullshit. I outlined very clearly why his response wasn't at all "measured". There is quite literally nothing Trump can do that will dissuade them from supporting him. As i have said multiple times, the one thing Trump got right is that he could murder someone right in front of Ray and Ray would still support him. Because of trans and DEI. See that for the stupidity that it is and call it out...no matter how it's presented.

I appreciate that and I could have been less snarky in replies.

I know you likely don't want to hear this but I am an eternal optimist and am hoping we can someday find common ground with others again. I know it's not looking good now but we all need to realize our brothers and sisters are not our enemies. I genuinely don't want to hate others, even though so many people's actions are completely flumoxing me at this point in our history.

Yet, I know the ultra=wealthy and powerful people, including many politicians, are doing a masterful job to keep us hating one another while they continue to build their empires to keep us all down, IMHO.
