I'm not sure I agree with this opinion. Sounds like her father wasnt actually a diplomat when she was born. Would he had still had diplomatic immunity if something would have happened with him at that time?

Says the US didn’t stop recognizing his diplomatic status until 1995. Either way, she was ~20 when she left to join ISIS. US citizen or not, she can rot in hell.
