And yet many posters ripped Iowa for losing to Utah State. They might want to rethink that. That's a hell of a comeback for them on the road. SDSU doesn't lose at home.
Sure wish we had held on against ISU or got a call at the end of the UM game, but I guess pulling out the NW game balances that out. I think the Wisconsin game is a big one. We need to enter the B1G schedule on an upswing for a change. If we stay healthy, this team can compete with anyone. And yet many posters ripped Iowa for losing to Utah State. Just too many cupcakes in the win column. The cumulative record of the teams we have lost to this season is 31-5, with Michigan collecting three of those losses.
Well after tomorrow only 2 cupcakes left, Washington and MinnesotaJust too many cupcakes in the win column.
If the other cupcakes were as good as Washington and Minny, our NET would probably be top 40.Well after tomorrow only 2 cupcakes left, Washington and Minnesota

Efficiency ratings are baked in as well. Kenpom has them at 24, Torvik at the 16.I skimmed down the NET rankings, and I am surprised that AZ is 25. I know they are highly regarded, but they are 6-5 overall. The have played 5 level 1 teams, but lost all of those games. They have two level 3 wins and 4 level 4 wins. I know there is a lot more detail to consider, but that sounds more like a NET 60 team, not a 25. Can anyone explain briefly?
Wisconsin game is a big one.
They don't, but no quad 1 wins, either. They will have to grab some during conference play, because this non conference schedule has done them no favors.Iowa doesn’t have a bad loss.
This. If we've learned anything from recent Selection Sunday's it comes down to Q1 wins for bubble teams. They don't, but no quad 1 wins, either.
I wished Fran had gone to the 3 guard lineup earlier. Having Thelwell out there puts the ball in the hands of another skilled perimeter offensive player making it less likely that Sandfort ends up jacking off balance 3's. In that Utah win Sandfort 2-5 over 36 minutes.Who was ripping Iowa for losing to Utah State? We knew they were good. I can only speak for myself, but I was upset at Payton Sandfort for going 1-13 from the three point line and at Fran for his coaching or lack thereof. This was a winnable game. Instead we had a player just jacking up off balance threes early in the shot clock and threw the game away.
