Uthoff 24 pts, 15 reb 6 blocks, has there ever?

Tonight, Jarrod Uthoff was the reason the Hawkeyes beat
the Gophers. He refused to lose. Whether if was long range
3 pointers, rugged rebounds, or crucial blocks, the young man
did it all. He is definitely an All-American candidate this season.

Bottom Line: Uthoff is the Moses who will lead the Hawkeyes
to the Promised Land of a deep run in the NCAA tournament.

Impressive. I posted earlier that I thought Valentine had POY wrapped up. But that is a strong retort from Uthoff.

Per Big Ten channel, in the last 20 years, only two other players in the Big Ten had 20+ pts, 15+ feb,
and 5+ blks
2011 JaJuan Johnson 20,17,7
2000 Joel Przybilla 28,18,7

Uthoff is the first player to do it this year.

Valentine went for 30 points, 13 assists, 5 rebounds and 3 steals today. 2 man race for player of the year in conference.

If IA wins the B1G outright & Uthoff maintains the type of year he's had, then he'll win it.

Did anyone else see Woody talking to Jarrod during a time out with about 3 1/2 minutes left in the first half? When play resumed, Jarrod went on a terror. Would love to know what was said to get Uttoff back on track.

Been a player do more in one game than Jarrod Uthoff did tonight for these
Iowa Hawkeyes.

I think Mike Gesell had 10 assists, also. But, Jarrod Uthoff's numbers were absolutely
One for the Ages.

Imagine his line if he didn't start 0-7...............

I couldn't believe the stat line Jarrod ended up with that bad start. He said post game he missed all the easy threes and hit the hard one. He had 2-3 wide open looks and missed. He is still finding a way to win and put up numbers even in a little shooting "slump" lately, if you want to call it that.
