Tonight, Jarrod Uthoff was the reason the Hawkeyes beat
the Gophers. He refused to lose. Whether if was long range
3 pointers, rugged rebounds, or crucial blocks, the young man
did it all. He is definitely an All-American candidate this season.

Bottom Line: Uthoff is the Moses who will lead the Hawkeyes
to the Promised Land of a deep run in the NCAA tournament.

While those numbers were impressive, this was one of JU's worst shooting games in awhile, or at least since Maryland. Which makes his numbers even more impressive. JU adjusted by driving and by getting to the foul line and his shooting slump had no effect on his hustle.

I couldn't believe the stat line Jarrod ended up with that bad start. He said post game he missed all the easy threes and hit the hard one. He had 2-3 wide open looks and missed. He is still finding a way to win and put up numbers even in a little shooting "slump" lately, if you want to call it that.
