Uyghur concentration camps by China that Trump turned a blind eye towards

So what are you hoping for?

Sanctions?
Revoke PNTR?
End trade?
Start a war?

What’s the appropriate response?

You would think all the newly woke people in the US would care about this issue since it involves systemic racism. Apparently not because no one seems to care.

I guess you’re a MAGAt because you haven’t offered what we should do beyond what we’ve always done about the CCP’s mistreatment of it’s citizens.

Want to saddle up again and ride on Beijing this time?
Trump ignored these new camps and now we've lost Hong Kong semi autonomy in this shit show Administration.

Trump literally turned a blind eye towards this and did nothing at all regarding this or Hong Kong, all for the bare bones of a trade agreement. While there's not necessarily a lot he could have done directly, he could have at least issued a public comment criticizing China, or sent them a sternly worded note.

But but warmongering!

You’re not answering my question:

What do you think we should do?

You apparently want us to (somehow) put over 100,000 troops in Afghanistan to tilt at windmills, what do you thin we can do about the CCP crackdown in their hinterlands or HK?

End trade?
Start bombing?
Strongly worded letter?

Turned a blind-eye? Are you serious? We were destabilizing HK via NGOs and fomenting revolution. The NED handprints were all over this op.

It's an accurate charge. Don't you see the inconsistency of your positions? You virtue signal your outrage when other countries are engaged in crimes of humanity. However, you don't seem to be content with our present amount of wars. Do you want more?

When will you speak out against Trump's war crimes in Syria and the 4 whistleblowers from the OPCW? Trump was vocal about stealing their oil, thus preventing Assad the revenue for rebuilding his country that Obama and Trump leveled. They are even burning their wheat fields so they'll starve.

Trump's sanctions on Venezuela have resulted in over 100,000 civilian deaths. The UK just blocked the Bank of England from returning Venezuela's gold so they could feed the people. We assist the KSA in their genocide of Yemen. W/o our support, it could never happen. Let's control what we can in our own house and stay out of the affairs of others. Stop doing the water-carrying of the MIC.

I don't have the answers but if you'd read what I posted you'll see Trump ignored it to keep trade talks going. We need to end our reliance on them in so many basic needs items for sure.

Well we "were" the world Superpower but yes.

In 1960 the US was 40% of global GDP.
By 2014 that was down to 20% of global GDP.
It's not going back the other way as the rest of the world continues to adopt capital investment over command style economies.

Unless you can put Mao back in charge the Chinese economy will continue to grow. Once they have just 1/4 of our per capita productivity they'll eclipse our economy in size.

I don't have the answers

Kvetching for kvetching's sake.
Got it.

There is nothing in it for Trump here. Oh, as a human being he could say something, or do something, but people in concentration camps doesn't bother him. Losing money bothers him. Losing the perception that Xi likes him and sees him as an equal bothers him.
