Meaningless, but fun. Some interesting ones. A couple of them say the Holiday. One says the Citrus vs. Kentucky. Another the Peach Bowl vs. Georgia. Another says Fiesta vs. LSU.

I'd be pretty happy with any of those. Fiesta would be cool, playing LSU again might not be.

I've seen the Holiday as well, I think it was cbssports.

If they somehow defied the odds and made the CFP I'd do everything in my power to get to that game. Otherwise I don't anticipate a bowl trip this season.

This year the B1G gets the Tax Slayer Bowl instead of the Music City. The ACC goes to the Music City.

I did not know that.

I don't suppose it would've mattered as I can't see Iowa falling to 8-4 regardless... I think 9-3 is probably "worst case" with 10-2 being most likely.

If the Hawks win the West Div., but lose in the B1G Championship game to Michigan, wouldn't they automatically go to the Rose Bowl if Michigan won the B1G Championship, and ranked in the Top 4 ~ just like a couple of years ago with Michigan State?

They are trying to keep the same teams from always going to the same places, which is why we will very likely end up in the Holiday Bowl even if we deserve the Outback Bowl, assuming we don’t win the West.

I was actually looking at something last night that took into account all the bowls we can’t go to because of the contracts that require different teams.

The result was pretty much if not the New Years Six, it’ll be Citrus or Holiday (assuming we don’t fall on our face).

yeah these names are garbage. They can have sponsors, but they should be forced to keep the traditional names as well. It's like the Taxslayer Bowl that we played in a few years ago. Nobody cares about the Taxslayer Bowl, but people cared about the Gator Bowl. Call it the Taxslayer Gator Bowl.

Like to see them switch up the bowls all together...maybe more in SoCal or Arizona or Vegas. More match ups vs Big 12 and or PAC 12..

If Iowa ended up in the Peach Bowl, I certainly wouldn't complain and would most likely go. Mercedes-Benz looks like an awesome venue. With that being said, the city of Atlanta sucks and I wouldn't be excited for that reason.
