Vikings Have to Dump Treadwell

I don't know if they would flat out cut him yet, being a first rounder and all, but I would. He did catch a TD, but he's got melted butter hands.

Carlson won't be far behind missing field goals by 15 yards wide either. Vikes lucky to be in the game with all the mistakes and penalties.

I would be stunned if Carlson is not cut by tomorrow if not sooner.

Treadwell should be, but then Spielman would have too much egg on his face for completely missing on another 1st round Wide Receiver and getting nothing in return.

Cut Carlson and Treadwell.

Sign Dan Bailey and trade a 7th round pick for Josh Gordon.
Is Bailey still unsigned? I don't think Zimmer would take on the headcase that is Josh Gordon, but the dude can play when he's not in the mental ward or smoking weed on company time. And he's cheap.

I also took a late round flyer on the loony tune in my Fantasy Draft, so I'd rather see him somewhere where he might be the guy if he can get and stay on the field. Big if obviously.

Maybe a straight up trade, Treadwell for Gordon, the money should be relatively close!

I agree Cut Carlson and Treadwell. I don't think they rare for Gordon. You never know if he will last a week or two weeks with his history
I don't think they'll go for Gordon either but at this point there is more possible upside in getting Gordon than keeping Treadwell on the field. No way they sign him after his rookie contract.

Seriously??? A rookie struggles in the first couple games and all of you think the Vikings need to dump him? This is why I lose faith in sports fans. Green Bay's Devante Adams had the same start to his career...and here he is 4 years later as one of the best receivers in the league. Then again, if Vikings fans want their team to drop level talent because they have knee jerk reactions to surface level things, by all means go ahead.

You may want to check your stat comparison. Adams had more catches in year one than Treadwell has had in 2+ years. The fact that he can't see the field as a starter is not a good sign either.

You should probably do a little more research on the topic at hand before you lecture others on how they should think.

Guess your "faith" is all of a sudden restored! LOL!

Technically Treadwell is a starter when they employ 3 wide sets, which they do quite a bit. I haven't studied all their formations, but read somewhere Thielen would go to a slot type role a bit more often with Diggs and Treadwell on the outside.

They cut Jarius Wright (big mistake) in what I believe was pure salary cap relief, but all he did was catch first downs in clutch situations. Instead we get butter hands Treadwell.

26 career games, 9 starts, may be 27 and 10 now.

I didn't think he even started that much! I was more speaking to I think he's considered a starter this year (when you're the 3rd Wide Receiver it gets a little dicey as to what a start is I guess).

He's been invisible up to now, which turns out was a good thing.

Don’t cheer for teams who wear purple and play indoors.
They should play outdoors, 100% agree on that.

They made 4 Super Bowls in the 70's playing outdoors, and haven't been back since they went indoors. Outdoors is better regardless.

Not going to lie going to a New Years Eve game in their stadium is better than outside.

If your referring to Treadwell I believe this is his 3rd year. He has been very underwhelming since he started in the NFL
