I confess I knew little of the landscape of NZ until I began watching HGTV's House Hunters International and saw how beautiful it was.
I was also introduced to the shipping containers brought in and converted into housing as the result of a large quake.
Lovely people and a lovely country. Hope there aren't too many casualties from this event.
