Would Gonzaga have gone Undefeated had they played in the B1G this Season?

  • No. There are too many good coaches in the B1G who would have come up w/ a plan to beat them

  • No. With up to 23 B1G games, all it takes is one off night & the Zags have a loss.

  • No. The physicality of the B1G would have caught up with the Zags

  • No. A broken nose from playing MSU, a sprained ankle, etc would have caught up with the Zags

  • No, for at least ONE of the reasons above and/or for a different reason

  • Yes. They would have won all 20 B1G Regular Season games AND 3 B1G Tournament Games in 3 DAYS

  • Yes. Even w/ a cancellation, they would have won all B1G Reg Season games & 3 BTT games in 3 Days

Michigan with Livers was right up there with Gonzaga.

Iowa could have played Baylor closer than Gonzaga did if Fran played slower pace like Wisconsin did vs Baylor.

Still a head scratcher as to why Fran didn't slow the game down with Oregon. It worked well mid-season when focused hard on defense.

It was interesting that gonzaga looked fresh at the beginning of tourney and looked tired againast baylor. They werent moving near as quick following the UCLA game. That is what it would have been like if the zags had to endure a real conference. They might have still been a 1 seed but not undefeated.

Zaga is getting a taste of what it would be like playing in a Power 5 conference

UCLA on Saturday, they barely win

Baylor tonight, they are literally getting beaten up. Imagine what Izzo's team would do to them.
And Michigan barely lost to them. The B1G homer-ism is expect here, of course. But wow. This is a whole new level.

Its pretty clear if you had put this year's Gonzaga team in the B1G they would have gotten beat up physically and they would not have come close to being undefeated.

No homerism is required when it is so obvious.
