with a few moves to boot. Perfect compliment to Daniels when JC leaves IMO

His quickness and elusiveness reminds me a bit of Freddie Russell, AW just needs to hang in there, keep improving and continue to grip the pigskin. That opportunity will open up down the road.

In the meantime, stay healthy Jordan Canzeri.

Wadley needs to gain about 15 lbs. of muscle or he will not be running between the tackles long.
I agree, he could use a bit more weight. I just want to see what he can do in an entire game. His explosiveness is for real, and he has great vision.

One of the knocks on him is that he can't hit the weight targets that Doyle wants.

Nice to see Wadley get the TD. He definitely could be a special player.

I still can't believe how small Wadley's legs are for a D1 running back. Another year in the weight room will do him a lot of good.

Best thing I liked about Wadley's TD was the first person to go out on the field to congratulate him was Derrick Mitchel

Wadley has a knack for finding the soft spot on the defense. Since Parker is buried on the depth chart, I would love to see them sneak Wadley in there for the jet sweep.

Agreed, expected him to take that to the house.

I could be completely wrong here.

But IIRC, Mitchell cut it back right w/ the ball in his left-arm and appeared to be more concerned w/ the defender behind him to his left coming up and creating a fumble. If so, that's correctable, and maybe we'll see him shift gears.

Wadley looks like the real deal to me. Think he has a bright future, assumeing he stays out of the Ferentz doghouse due to his fumbles.

Speaking of Parker....he seems to just have fallen off the face of the earth. Is he hurt or just dropped in the depth chart. Last year, he seemed to be everywhere.

Some of that is genetics. . And if so, no weight room stuff will do much anyway.

Mitchell kind of reminded me of Adam Robinson. Not a lot of speed not a lot of wiggle, but hits the hole and gets the job done. Small sample size though

Wadley was diagnosed with fumbleitis at the Iowa University
Hospital in Iowa City. He is scheduled for a Velcro-transplant
on his hands next Monday. The surgery will be done at the
University Hospital. Coach Ferentz hopes the surgery will
be successful and that Wadley can return in 2 to 3 weeks
The surgery will be performed by Dr. Seymour Yards.
