Leave it to Beaver is one of my all-time favorite shows. Many of their topics are still relevant today. If you ever get a chance to watch the entire segment on Tony Dow from CBS Sunday Morning, do it. He really struggled to find his own identity in life, it was pretty sad actually.

They did a piece on him on CBS Sunday Morning not too long ago. He talked about his battles with depression and how he used his art to deal with some of his issues. Seems like a truly decent guy.

Didn't he end up being a cop in LA?
Kenneth Charles Osmond (June 7, 1943 – May 18, 2020) was an American actor and police officer. Beginning a career as a child actor at the age of four, Osmond played the role of Eddie Haskell on the late 1950s to early 1960s television situation comedy Leave It to Beaver and reprised it on the 1980s revival series The New Leave It to Beaver. Typecast by the role, he found it hard to get other acting work and became a Los Angeles police officer. After retiring from police work, he resumed his acting career.

Alive; good chance, though, dead by the time you read this,
Insert Monty Python GIF here.
My guess is the publicist had it ready to go because of his chronic poor health, and released the statement on some miscommunication with the family.

So, have we figured out for sure...is Wally dead or undead?
