Walsh Ironman results

I thought that was as unimpressive as a 9-1 win can get. Was content to hover ride for the 7-1 win until the other kid got desperate and put himself on his back. Warner didn't create much action and scored all his points off counters... Sorry, but that match left me uninspired.(Says as I reach for the box for a second bowl of Cap'n Crunch with Crunch berries)
Excellent choice in the Crunch Berries!

As for the rest of it, didn't see it so I'll take your word for it! ;)

Madrigal all countering so far, but it's been effective. 3-0 Lee going to the third.

5-0 win for Spencer against a very defensive Madrigal. Never got close to turning him, though.

Tough to turn a good wrestler if his whole goal is not get turned instead of making moves to win matches. Any stall calls?

J-Rent is trailing 4-1 in the third right now on mat 5. And he loses! Wow. That was surprising. Is he too small?

Man alive, Mitch Moore is good.

He didn't ball up or lay flat. He was actively trying to escape. Lee is pretty good on top and prevented the escape.

Madrigal definitely chose his spots in neutral but was not stalling. Madrigal tried to win the match.

I'm from New York, born in Brooklyn. I've lived in Florida since I was in elementary school though. Right now I live and practice in Ocala, Florida.

Good ole horse country. I was born in Iowa, moved to Orlando as a kid, and now in Chicago. Still closely follow florida HS wrestling.

I'll wave as I pass by 2 weeks from today on way to Siesta Key.

That's what I saw also. He's never a super active guy but stays in the center and is an excellent hand fighter. Madrigal is very good and wherever he ends up will be a multiple time AA.

Lewan got smoked by Sasso. Not really impressed with Lewan. Little offense all tournament. Sasso is good! The first match today Troy showed nothing.

True, but most studs are awesome on their feet, Spencer's top game is on another level. If he has a weakness (or some semblance of a weekness) its his bottom game. He got ridden pretty tough for over a minute by Eli Stickley at Iron Man a couple years ago. He's absolutely the best top HS wrestler in the country. I'd give him neutral as well.

I've seen him wrestle Suriano twice and I don't think Suriano ever held him down for 20 seconds.
