Want some opinions

WrestleStat is getting a MAJOR overhaul this offseason. There are 2 primary reasons, 1) performance, and 2) allow users with elevated privileges the ability to add/remove match results, and do some "maintenance" work.

While I'm working on all of these changes (since I will be completely re-writing the app), I will also be re-designing all of the pages.

One that I started working on is the team/school page(s). Right now, you have your roster page, eligibility page, etc. If you want to see those different pages, you have to click a link and get re-directed to that page. For this, I'm thinking of putting all of those (roster, elig, depth chart, and schedule) all on a single "page", but have them separated by tabs.

What does everyone think of this?

Not sure how the results are entered, whether you have an RSS feed somewhere or load a .csv or something? seems like a daunting task each week to get it all loaded...Maybe you could assign little minions to each conference...

Love the site. My only suggestion is when you do a wrestler comparison, allow the results to be sorted by date. Right now, when you do a comparison, results show up in alpha order and I don't see a way to change it (sorry if I'm missing something). It would be nice to sort by date so you can see more recent results versus seeing two guys have a common opponent from 3 seasons ago. I ran into this issue when I was doing a fantasy pool. Not a huge deal but it would have been more convenient or order results by date. Does that make sense?

Greg, I know we discussed this last year since i still have the email about it, but create an ability to predict a dual meet's results, or, even a match predictor that would predict the outcomes of matches.

From the original email:
Anyways, my thought was that when you do the team comparisons, have the system "predict" the outcome and the dual meet score.
I think that there might be some algorithm that can be determined that would take into consideration all of the other statistics you gather (dec, MD, TF4, TF5, Fall) and same defensive statistics, and then the latest results and determine an outcome for that match.
Example might be Logan Steiber...just because he is David Taylor dominant right now, in an OSU dual matchup, it would probably have him winning by MD, TF5 or Fall.
or Johnny Dijulius, He has won a lot of match's by close decision lately, but also has a few TF against lesser opponents. The system could gauge the "rankings" and determine how the result would come out against Indiana's wrestler, and will probably come back with at least a major decision, probably a TF or Fall..

Also, I'd like to "performance" test the few pages that work so far.

The ONLY pages that work are:
1) Rankings by weight
2) School page (this now contains roster, eligibility breakdown, depth chart, schedule, and team info pages), only 3 of these 5 (elig, depth, schedule) tabs work right now though

Would you guys mind just navigating around between these few pages just so I can get an idea of performance, or see if there are any bugs in my database connection code?

This, and be able to do a universal date sort, as in "don't show results older than last season".
