Yes he is. He lives in an apartment there in Washington, I believe he has siblings who go to school in Tolono.

Very cool quote from Warner about why he chose Iowa:

“Felt like home,” Warner said Wednesday after signing a National Letter of Intent with the Hawkeyes. “It felt like that’s where I wanted to be. There’s a lot of things that played in, but in the end, it’s the type of guys I want to go to war with and it’s the type of team I want to be around.”

Sounds like Jacob is looking forward to having some FUN with his new teammates at Iowa. . . . Imagine that.

The 'Spencer Lee Effect' is in full swing! Amazing how a guy who's still in HS, has already had a big impact on this program. It will only get better when hes finally at Iowa.

Warner just gets it.

The way I looked at it is ‘why wouldn’t I want to surround myself with Spencer Lee, Gavin Teasdale, Max Murin, and Marinelli?’, those are the type of guys I want to surround myself with. If you want to be on the best team and be a title contender, you have to do that. I feel like as long as everyone keeps producing like we can I think we are going to do some damage.
