I wouldn’t say the loss was because the other kid was better.

Remember, even Carl took a loss his true freshman year. As tough as Paul Jenn was, I don’t think you’ll see many Hawk fans claiming he was better than Carl. Credit to Woodley for competing hard to the end, and he’s a tough kid, no doubt. I like Jacob’s chances against him down the road.

Warnerov will be a monster with some more meat on his bones. The redshirt year will serve him well.

As for Spencer, he’s a rare bird. The usual criticisms very possibly may never apply to him. He’s that freakishly good.
