Was Bo pinned?

I am pretty sure that there cannot be a defensive fall while an offensive fall is going on, but Bo was definitely pinned

I am a little surprised we don't have a single official chiming in. To a layman like me, some sort of force needs to be exerted to get a fall. Sammy was no more than a bystander. So I don't see how in anyway he could lay claim to pinning Bo.

I disagree. Offensive or neutral wrestler needs to maintain control of their own body. I have no problem with a wrestler pinning himself.

Agreed, except in situations like this one - where the other, defending wrestling is pinned. This is all very academic, but any ruling that had Bo losing here would be absurd.

I dislike the rule , Always reward the wrestler taking the risk. It usually works it's self out because the ref positions himself to view the defensive wrestlers shoulder position. Hard to see both down on the mat

I don't think anyone is saying that Sammy pinned Nickal. I think Nickal pinned himself.....before he pinned Sammy. But it is academic at this point...

The problem with using screenshots as proof of a pin is, well, Carton wasn't pinned either.

I am an official (though a green one), and what matters is whose shoulders hit the mat for a one count. It doesn't matter how it came to pass that your shoulders came to hit the mat. If, from neutral, you lay down on the mat, you are pinned.

Thanks!
