Sure, but does the male business owner and his hire get voted in position by their customers because that's what happens with Presidents and VPs. We, the voters, get to chose whether the VP gets the job, not the Presidential nominee. Vice Presidential nominees don't get the job unless the voters and the EC choose their ticket.
