Yeah, I really enjoyed this one. Best of luck to Joe, hope he gets a shot at the NFL
Very cool story. Especially loved the part where he called out Campbell and their coaches for knowing basically nothing about him and botching his recruitment.
Would have been even better if Kluver would just let him talk and not interrupt all the time with lame questions or stories of his Marshalltown exploits that no one cares about.

Guy like Evans will make money at the next level whether it be a situational pass rusher and STs Player in the NFL or a starting DE in the CFL , He is a Guy You want in the locker room and is disruptive and makes plays. That was a good pod and gave insight into the Locker room and recruiting, Yea Campbell and His Staff sure were made to look cringe but that was already a given

Care to summarize for those of us that don't want to waste nearly a hour and a half?
It's a podcast. Listen to it working out, doing dishes/laundry, walking the dog, or whatever other mundane task. It's not that hard.
I refuse to do dishes without some kind of Hawkeye related podcast.

Hated Cade initially but ended up being very tight and rented a townhouse this year w Cade .
Said Cade is the best player leader he has seen
Was pissed about the timing of Brian firing but said BF never wavered in working arse off to the end.
Said he would run thru brick wall 100 times for KF.
Indicated he never heard anyone in locker room ever talk about their NIL package..total non-issue.
Said this year's team was incredibly tight ..more than any team he ever played on.

So true. Kluver is why I don't watch or listen to them. I did check this episode out based on this recommendation, and Kluver didn't disappoint. Joe is great though. Hope he finds a spot in the league and is happy.
I like wards input and can handle kluver.

Every episode with a former player is well worth the listen. The most recent with Petras was really good. Evans was fantastic.
This is just a transition period. The wild west before true law and order came in.
it wasn't nearly as good as Joe Evans. Fairly neutral answers to everything.
