16-year-old girl stabbed to death over McDonald's sauce dispute​

A 16-year-old girl allegedly stabbed another teenage girl to death in Washington, D.C., early Sunday, police said. The stabbing happened during an argument over McDonald's sauces, CBS affiliate WUSA-TV reported.

Naima Liggon, 16, was brought to a local hospital where she died of her wounds, the Metropolitan Police Department said.
According to police, the teens — both from Waldorf, Maryland — had ordered food at a D.C. McDonald's and then got in a car together, CBS affiliate WUSA-TV reported. The two then got into an argument over the sauces they had been given, which led to the stabbing, WUSA reported.

Officers took the other girl into custody on charges of second degree murder while armed, officials said. She had a knife when she was arrested, police said.

Liggon attended Thomas Stone High School in Waldorf, WUSA reported. Monday was the first day of the new school year.
"This is a heartbreaking and tragic time for our school community. This is not the news a principal ever wants to share, let alone the day before we start a new school year," principal Shanif Pearl said in a message to parents, staff and students Sunday, according to WUSA.

"The impact of this senseless loss has affected our family, our friends, and our community," Liggon's family said in the statement provided to WUSA. "Naima will never see her prom or her graduation. We will not get to see her graduate from college or get married or have kids."

Sweet & Sour, according to several articles I’ve seen.

My sense is there might have been some underlying tension that preceded this incident. Nobody goes from zero to stabby over a packet of dipping sauce.

My guess: they both got chicken nuggets. They both asked for the same sauce. McDonald’s only gave them 2 packets.

Girl A started in on her fries while Girl B started with her chicky chicky nugg-nuggs and used both packets assuming there were more.

There weren’t, and girl A was pissed.

Right now it says there was a disagreement about sauce packets. Barring much more like the one bitch pulled a gun on the other, a massive throw down, or the dead one being a Husker fan, then it doesn’t make sense.
This is why I’m for capital punishment. Sure they’re 16, but at 16 you know murder is bad. And if you’re murdering someone over a disagreement between sauce packets then even at 16 your life ain’t worth it to society.

A Louisiana woman was arrested after allegedly attacking her grandfather and stabbing him in the face after her grandparents confronted her about her lack of showering and hygiene schedule.
The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office said in a press release that they arrested Carrington Elise Harris after an investigation revealed that the 22-year-old threw a violent tantrum after her grandfather confronted her over her hygienic patterns.

Deputies said that they arrived at the home in Keithville, Louisiana on a domestic disturbance call.
The elderly couple told law enforcement that they argued with their grandchild "after they asked her to shower."

Harris allegedly became irate and started to damage property inside the house. She then allegedly went outside and cut the power to the residence.

Police said that the grandparents tried to restrain Harris, but she escaped. She allegedly went to the kitchen,
grabbed a knife and "stabbed her grandfather in the face."

After her violent tirade, Harris allegedly darted into the woods by the home and hid from responding officers.
Several hours later, police said that, authorities found the woman still hiding in the woods and immediately took her into custody.

Harris was booked into the Caddo County Correctional Center, where she was being held without bond.
Harris’ grandfather, who was not identified, was taken to the Willis-Knighton South and the Center for Women’s Health in Shreveport, Louisiana, for medical treatment.

The sheriff’s office did not provide any information about his condition after the knife attack.
