OSU can't fill their indoor stadium, no point in moving outdoors. PSU can try, but NOBODY is going to get 42k, Iowans fans are way more fanatical than anyone else. This record will stand for decades.

Nobody can do it like we did. 10 bucks as tickets and separate from the football game. Don't underestimate the cheesehead and his funny math out east. The record may get broke but it will have an *.

I hope you are right, but I don't think it will stand as long as you do. Whenever something like this happens, it starts an "arms race", and somebody somewhere will attempt it and I believe break it. For me it comes down to a numbers game, as in the sheer number of people in a given geographical area.

There is a reason Iowa's stadium only holds 70,000, and Ohio State, Penn State and Michigan hold 100,000 plus. It ain't because those folks like their Football better.

That, and when you have events such as the Grapple on the Gridiron, people are motivated to be a part of history. It will be the same somewhere else, somewhere with a lot more people in a shorter circumference of the event itself (less personal sacrifice if you will). It's inevitable IMO.

But none of that matters to me at this point. Iowa was the first to do it, and will remain so for all time (and I'd be remiss not to mention Okie State in this as well). I got to be a teeny-tiny part of it, and I'm delighted with that.
