Not sure what you're referring to......but the pass was to Toren Young. Fant should have blocked the guy that got the int though.

Ok, thought maybe it was for Fant and he wasn't showing any sense of urgency even after seeing the wide-out leave the line of scrimmage. Hmmm

I thought the same thing. We were down 6 with only 3 min left & I felt like we needed at least 10 points to win that game.
Here’s the thing. We had a chance to be up 21-7 with all the momentum in the world, and getting the Ball back in the 2nd half. Stanley chose to make two colossal errors , resulting in a tied ball game. The D is going to tire our eventually, and that’s what happened tonight. When you make stupid decisions and give points and the ball away, it’s hard for a defense to recover.

But the defense did recover and gave the offense 2 chances to win at the end.

I'm pretty sure Stanley knew he had a touchdown there and that's why he's hurrying to get the play started. I Like that people bombing stanley cuz he was trying to score when supposedly the best tight end in the world is looking the other direction and taking a play off

Fant wasn't looking because he was trying to let the wide receiver Stanley was changing the play. The problem was Stanley didn't have enough time to change the play. The coaching staff were screaming for a timeout but didn't get noticed.

Exactly.

Ya. Game was lost in the 1st half. Handed to Iowa on a platter and couldn’t cash in

We should have just called a time out, no need to rush on first down inside the 5. But, it is what it is.
Would this have been something a good coaching staff had done. (Time out as time was running out and everyone running around like the heads were cut off?)

There was no reason to do anything except run the ball in that situation. 1st and goal on the 3. Use as much clock as possible. This would have been a good time for Kirk 1.0 to return. Same thing at the end of the first half.

I think if it's a pass to 28, it would be illegal at that point for Fant to block.

IMO, it was simply a brain fart on the part of several people, most prominently the QB. First down on the three with all your timeouts remaining, you call one when it's obvious something is amiss.
