With covid I am not concerned a player is going to get seriously ill, I am concerned it shuts down the team for 2 weeks.
A coach with a team playing so bad that he wants the season shut down early so that he doesn’t finish with a really ugly record that tarnishes his legacy.
This. God damn media hyping up this pandemic as something serious. I want my freedom back!
I mentioned this in another thread but if ‘rocket’ (said like Bud from Kill Bill) was feeling sick at the beginning of the game, izzo should have kept him out. They have already had a pause, izzo himself has had Covid and said to be suffering ongoing fatigue post-Covid. Just in case, you don’t play a kid displaying visible signs of illness.
This could be kind of ironic. We usually practice social distancing on defense. We adhere to the 6 feet rule. Yesterday, we guard closely a guy who is sick. Hope this doesn't come back to haunt us!
