Yes of course they do. What exactly did I give "THEM" by protecting myself and my family? I don't claim to be a medical expert. But here's what I do know. I work in Johnson county on the Kansas side of the KC Metro. They pulled their mask mandates a few weeks back, because they were doing much better on new cases. On the news two days ago that Johnson county has seen a big spike in new cases in the last few days, and their now back in the high risk transmission with a spike higher then they've had since last winter. I live on the Missouri side in jackson county. It encompasses KCMO and most of the bigger suberbs on the Missouri side. They've been making progress so they pulled most of their mandates this week. I'd be willing to bet after going through Thanksgiving get togethers, and no masks, that somewhere about mid December you'll see a big spike in Jackson county, on positives, hospitalizations and eventually more deaths. I'd send you a pm when Mayor Lucas has to reinstitute mask mandates but I'm sure you don't care. I'm not here to stomp out anyones freedom of choice, but it would be nice if we don't end up going back to business owners having to limit customers or shutter the doors all together like what happened last year. Believe or not, ( and I know that you don't), these decisions are NOT just effecting the person who makes them....
