(Women's Coaches Poll released on Tuesday)
Drake getting votes.

If anyone is frustrated with how our season is going….make yourself feel better by looking at Nebraska. Tragic.

Or if you really wanna see an utter catastrophe, look at Tennessee.

It doesn't help things that Jeff Linder from the Gazette ranked Iowa 13th. Jeff cover the Iowa womens team for the Gazette and has an AP vote. He does an outstanding job covering high school sports, however he is a huge Drake/ISU fan and rarely has much nice to say about Iowa. He is not unprofessional about when it come to covering Iowa womens basketball, but he goes out of his way to praise all things cyclones and bulldogs. At times he takes veiled shots at Iowa.

Not sure if there is more to the story but over the past several seasons Jeff has ranked Iowa lower than what their weekly ranking ends up being.

Texas took a tumble as well.

Ohio State and Indiana sure benefited from beating Tennessee. I don't see any other reason why they would have vaulted into top six after two weeks. At the same time, Tennessee got dropped to 23 after being ranked #5 in the preseason poll. Well, is Tennessee good or not? If they are not good, why should Indiana and Ohio State jump so many spots by beating them?
