Speaks to our improvement on the defensive end imo. Team is just doing what it needs to on both ends to win games.
When you can force 17 turnovers, that's gonna smooth over a lot of 'ugly' shooting percentages.
Iowa had 6 turnovers.

Color me extremely impressed with this Iowa Hawkeye team.
This team is just playing some amazing ball right now. Its just, wow.Iowa had 6 turnovers.

Their winning with defense, and/or with rebounding, and that's not even talking about the ability to take care of the ball on offense - despite playing one of the highest paces in CBB, with pushing the ball on offense and trying to speed up opposing offenses when pressing & scrambling on the D end.
Anyone who is not enjoying this past 5 weeks, as an Iowa bball fan - men AND women's teams - needs to hand in their fan card and GTFOutta here.
I will gladly admit to being wrong about that. I just don’t ever remember seeing anything like what this team has shown the past several weeks during Fran’s tenure. And today it was on another level altogether. Kudos to Fran and staff. Kudos to this TEAM.
