Not nearly as many super matchups this weekend as there were earlier in the week. Looks like a week to solidify positions rather than jump up in the standings.

So by that, 3 Big Ten teams and Creighton would be a 5 seed?...............

Mary Land showed more toughness on the road than I have seen, and now are in a strong position to finish at the top of the B1G. I think 15-5 seems like the most likely top record. MSU could still get there, but I don't see other teams finishing that well.

Iowa really needs to whip the Huskers today, or I see momentum going in the wrong direction. The games are all much tougher matchups going forward. GO HAWKS!
 
I still say 14-6 gets at least a share of the Big Ten title. I'm not ready to hand the title to Maryland or to give up on Iowa. Lots of basketball left.

With a minute and a half to go, MSU is down 9, and I still think the refs are going to find a way give it to them.
 
um hangs on to win. sparty has significant holes this year, in particular not much post presence.
 
If the Hawkeyes can get it together on the road next week, they've still got a shot at this thing. MSU just dropped its third straight, and Luka could give Sparty fits in East Lansing. Beat Nebby today, and the next two road games at Minnesota and Indiana will go a long way in telling the tale of this Hawkeye season. We'll see if these kids can get a second wind and feed off that embarrassment at Purdue. The opportunity is there. That's all anyone can ask.

not a B1G game, but depaul lost again. This time to a massively depleted georgetown squad that was already not that good to begin with.
The big east is a tough conference, but depaul just isn't very good. At this point, though, I'm assuming the depaul loss can't hurt Iowa any more than it already has. Right?

If it moves to a quad 3 it could hurt more. It’s gotta be getting close to that point last time I checked they were at 70 for the NET and 76 would move them to quad 3.

I don't see them winning in east lansing, but no game left on their schedule is one that I'd say is an automatic L.

Ouch. Well, I wouldn't say things are looking promising for depaul. Dropping further seems a likely possibility.
 
Good big east game between seton hall and 'nova. Looks like shu going to close them out to take a commanding lead in their league. With their guard play and a shot blocking big man, shu could be dangerous come tourney time.

IU sure is struggling. Lil Archie is looking mighty suave on the sidelines, but isn't coaching worth a damn IMO. I sure thought their guards were a lot better than they have been. They are all erratic shooters and ballhandlers, who can look great or awful, especially Green.

As tough as it is to win at Assembly Hall or in Goofer Land, I think those next two games are more winnable than the other two road games at Sparty and Illannoy. Not good to look past the next game, so let's get a W and put ourselves in a strong position to finish in the top few. I also wouldn't mind seeing IU on the outside looking in for the dance... GO HAWKS!
 
4 road games and 3 home games left. So favored in 3 and underdogs in 4. If it plays out that way and we go 11-9 that’s still a 5-6 seed as all would be good wins and no bad losses. Hoosiers definitely on the ropes. This might be our best chance left to get a road win.

Agree that minny and iu look like the most potential for a road win.
Not expecting a win. Just that those appear to be the best chances.
 
Does CBS even try? Listing UNC as a quality win for Ohio State and then throwing up the wrong NET rankings on the screen... idiots
