No offer to Colin Newell? Kind of a surprise there. 247 shows an ISU offer but he is listed as cool to it. His other offers are Ill. St., Colo. St., and Miami-Ohio. Maybe 247 has him rated higher than the Hawk coaches do. Also wonder about Kleinow, Hummel, Nank, and Duwa. I know the coaches are being more selective with fewer scholarships for 2017. Just wonder if they are saving some offers until other things shake out.

ISU say "cool"...so I assume Iowa.
If we offered and he hasn't accepted...he's clearly not the sharpest tool in the shed.

Having watched the family, I am sure that they will take in the entire recruiting process. Wait to see who else offers and see if there are any other big schools that decide to jump in. They also might be waiting to see what happens in terms of wrestling offers.....although, I would guess that football would trump wrestling.
As far as the "sharpest tool" comment, academically, that isn't a problem as the kid got offered by Dartmouth. He is a very good student.
I have read more than once that many believe Rocky will not be a QB in college. If so, what position is he being recruited to play?
No idea if true, but QB to TE is a common transition. The kid also appears to have the size to play TE.
